Right Side Christmas

Here’s a card I printed for Right Side Cards. This is their first letterpress  holiday card after years of silk screen printing. Some day we can have a flame war about the relative merits of relief and serigraph, but for now I’ll say that the small type is crisp and we pulled off a trick with the ink that I bet you can’t do with a screen. We get three colors even though we ran only two. The purple is an overprint of the red and the green. Pretty nifty if I do say so myself. And a good job on press to keep register and all. Now my arm aches from patting myself on the back.

Next I have to get my own Christmas cards done. Three new designs for the season. Plus I have the dozen or so from past years. Look for them soon.
